About
Dr. Davis' perspective on patients and their families has evolved in recent years as she is now a parent herself. Dr. Davis puts herself into the shoes of her pediatric patients' parents, and thinks about how scary it can be to have a child with a urological condition that requires surgery, regardless of the severity of the condition. As a parent, she would want an excellent surgeon but also a physician that could explain the medical condition in relatable terms and help her understand the process of her child's care. She has stated that she would want that person to be proactive in coordinating their treatment and to help put her child at ease throughout the entire process. She believes these interpersonal elements are especially important when it comes to the pediatric patient experience. Dr. Davis strives daily to not only provide the technical knowledge, but the interpersonal elements as well, for every patient in her practice.
