Dr. Rahman Pourmand is trained to treat all neurological disorders.  He is board certified in Neurology.  He has special clinical interest in Neuromuscular disorders such as Myasthenia Gravis. 

Dr. Pourmand received the Doctor of the Year from the MGFA.  It is awarded to the physician who has made extraordinary efforts to assist individuals and their families affected by myasthenia gravis, a highly misdiagnosed neuromuscular, autoimmune disease in which communication between the nerve and muscle is impaired, causing weakness.
