Robert Wasnick, MD

Dr. Wasnick understands that the idea of an infant undergoing surgery may be an intimidating prospect for any parent, whether the procedure is simple or complex. He finds it gratifying to be the recipient of parental and patient trust and the beneficiary of their appreciation. The well being of children is his highest priority. 
Dr. Wasnick received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He performed his general surgery training at St. Vincent’s Hospital & Medical Center and his urology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Following his residency, Dr. Wasnick was awarded a Bowen-Brooks Fellowship by the New York Academy of Medicine to study pediatric urology at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, England – one of the largest children’s hospitals in the UK. Since then, Dr. Wasnick has been named a 'Best Doctor in New York' by Castle Connolly for 20 years and has won numerous awards, published many research articles and textbook chapters, is a reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Urology, as well as other important academic journals in the field.
