About
Dr. David Areman, Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology, graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine with a preliminary year in medicine at Nassau University Medical Center. He then did his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at New York Medical College/ Westchester Medical Center, and his Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging with a focus in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Mount Sinai/Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He came to Stony Brook from Downstate Medical Center/Kings County Hospital where he served as the Director of Emergency Radiology. He has contributed to Emergency Medicine textbooks, published research in emergency radiology, and has spoken nationally on topics related to emergency radiology and trauma. Dr. Areman was appointed to Stony Brook University Hospital in 2014, where he specializes in General Diagnostic Radiology, Body Imaging and Emergency Radiology.
