Samita Heslin, MD, MPH, MBA

I'm passionate about Emergency Medicine and caring for patients of all age groups. I love the dynamic, versatile, and team-based approach of Emergency Medicine and being able to make a difference in our patients' lives. I received my B.A. and M.A. degrees from Harvard University; M.D., M.B.A., and M.P.H. degrees from Stony Brook University; and M.S. degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University. I completed Emergency Medicine Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, where I was a Chief Resident. I've received local and national awards in Emergency Medicine and am double board certified in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Informatics. I love every shift that I work in the Emergency Department and I feel honored and privileged to work at Stony Brook University Hospital and care for our community.
