Samra Shoaib, MBBS

Dr. Samra Shoaib (she/her/hers) has joined the Adult Outpatient Services as an attending physician. She earned her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan and completed her residency at Nassau University Medical Center here on Long Island, where she graduated as an administrative chief resident. 

Dr. Shoaib’s work is driven by a deep commitment to serving underserved immigrant populations—particularly women—and addressing the unique challenges they face in accessing healthcare. She is also interested in the intersection of climate change and mental health, especially its impact on everyday individuals and vulnerable communities. She brings with her a compassionate, equity-focused perspective to her work here at Stony Brook.
