The American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) defines this OB/GYN subspecialty as providers who have dedicated their careers to the study and treatment of pelvic floor disorders (PFD's) in women. Here at Stony Brook Medicine, I am lucky to be a part of our Urogynecology division.    We assist patients in the medical and surgical management of their pelvic organ prolapse and urinary issues.  In addition, I also provide routine gynecologic care for our patients.   Pelvic floor disorders can be scary, embarrassing, complex and can occur at almost any age.  My goal is to provide a welcoming, comfortable environment to allow for the proper identification and treatment of their unique issues.
