I specialize in Surgical Oncology with a focus on gastrointestinal cancers (stomach, pancreas, liver, colon) and other unusual non-gastrointestinal cancer/tumor types including: melanoma, sarcoma, adrenal, neuroendocrine tumors, mesothelioma and peritoneal carcinomatosis. Surgical oncology training provided me with the foundation and expertise needed to understand these diseases. The multi-disciplinary treatment strategies to pursue that include chemotherapy and radiation, as well as surgery. In addition to focusing on the disease, I feel it paramount for me and my team to forge strong relationships with the patients to understand their unique personal backgrounds when providing the holistic comprehensive care (clinical/medical services, nutrition, psychology, social work, physical therapy, genetics) that each individual needs.
