Simran Buttar, MD

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital. I am ABEM certified physician with 7 years’ experience, fellowship trained in ultrasound at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and medical education at Jefferson University in Philadelphia. I am originally from Queens and happy to be part of the faculty at Stony Brook University. I chose emergency medicine as a student at Stony Brook Medical School under the mentorship of physicians who are my colleagues today.
