Slawomir P Oleszak, MD

I have been working at Stony Brook University Hospital since 1994. I completed my residency in Anesthesiology in 1997 and then accepted a position as an attending physician in the Department of Anesthesiology. My passion has been always the most difficult and complex airway cases so naturally I became more and more involved in difficult airway management and found my calling in performing and teaching difficult airway care in my department.  As the Chief of the ENT section of general anesthesia, I have been engaged in all kinds of difficult airway cases throughout the hospital. My passion has been also  teaching airway management to residents and attendings at the hospital as well as other anesthesiologists during national meetings.
