About
I have been working in the Stony Brook Emergency Department since 1989 making me number 2 in the longevity list here in the ER. I discovered emergency medicine during my rotations while doing my Internal Medicine residency here at Stony Brook and have never looked back. The great variety of patients and variability of presentations keeps it engaging. As a lifelong Long Islander and a Suffolk county resident since the late 80’s I am happy to treat patients close to home.
As an ER physician we treat any conditions but I do have an interest in wound management and I was happy to participate in some of the first trials in the US using cyanoacrylate laceration repair.
