About
Dr. Sunjida Ahmed is clinical assistant professor and director of medical student elective rotation of department of pathology at Stony Brook Medicine. As a faculty member of anatomic pathology Dr. Ahmed's clinical expertise lies in gastrointestinal, liver and pancreas pathology. Her responsibility also lies in the performance of diagnostic Gynecologic pathology. Dr. Ahmed is dedicated to resident's and medical student's teaching and participates in various teaching activities. Dr. Ahmed did her residency followed by fellowship in gastrointestinal and liver pathology from NYU Langone hospital. She did surgical pathology fellowship as second fellowship from North well Health. Dr. Ahmed is board certified in AP and CP. Dr. Ahmed is interested in research focusing on gastrointestinal tumor and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
