Timothy James Chong, MD

I was raised in Florida where I completed Medical School at the University of Florida College of Medicine. After completing Internal Medicine residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, I chose to subspecialize in Geriatric Medicine because of the growing needs of our aging population. I was fortunate to train at the University of Hawaii seeing care for patients in a variety of settings ranging from medical clinic, to home visits, to nursing home rehabilitation. I wanted more insight on how to help patients and loved ones help maintain function and dignity according to their goals, as they navigate our complicated medical system. Patients need comprehensive assessment of these goals which will help guide personalized medical care.
