Vicki Masson, MD

Dr. Masson's interest in pulmonary medicine stems from her robust training during residency, where she was able to work alongside experts in the field at Toledo Children's Hospital. She went on to complete a fellowship at UC Irvine where her interest in cystic fibrosis, asthma, chronic cough, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and chronic lung diseases met research opportunities that propelled her knowledge in the field further. She has published her work in such journals as "Pediatrics In Review", a prominent pediatric journal, "Pediatric Research" and other such research outlets. She continues to work with the community to improve education for children and families with these diseases. She also strives to take a more personalized and individualized approach to medicine by getting to know families and their unique needs. Having three dogs, and two small children herself, this is of particular importance to her.
